Dexter Ihnen rocked the Ivy Falls Ampi-theatre on 12 April, to a packed crowd. Dexter is a multi-award winning songwriter and sells his CDs worldwide over the internet and at his performances. He has spent months on end at the top of various charts and enjoys a somewhat cult-like following of musicians and discerning listeners.

MAR17: THANK YOU
Ivy Falls hosted a unique production to raise funds for V-Day in March 2008. 'In the Pink' saw the Ivy falls theatre filled to capacity over four performances on March 8 and 9 boasted rave reviews and raised more than $L300,000. The original presentation was affiliated with the 10th year anniversary of V-Day who raise funds for campaigns to end violence against women all over the world by global productions of “THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES,” by Eve Ensler. “Welcome to the Wetlands” and a letter from playwright Eve Ensler was included as a salute to the women of New Orleans.

FEB 19: GRAND OPENING DATES!

FEB 12: TAKING SHAPE!
Ivy Falls is taking shape - the mall is filling, the ampitheatre is in place, and the train-tracks are being laid. With a little more than a month to our grand opening, we're fine-tuning the details, and getting everything ready for the best live entertainment and shopping. The island is currently public, feel free to wander through as it comes together, and even take in a spot of fishing! JAN 1: Happy New Year!
A gathering of friends met at VLS on December 31 to see in the new year with firewroks and a live performance from Musician Moxy barracuda! May 2008 bring all friends and visitors to the island much health, happiness and success!

DEC 29: Mall Upgrade!
VLS is pleased to welcome all visitors and shoppers to the re-developed VLS Mall, where the previously sealed roads have now been paved and planted, all stores have had a structural upgrade allowing easier vendor customization, new streetlighting with festive banners are hanging, and a new teleport system is being tested. Visit the island today to stroll through a wealth of talent and quality items unique to Second Life!

DEC 21: The Spirit in us greets the Spirit in You...
More than 60 gathered as VLS hosted a charity event created by Cypress Rosewood and Yman Juan from Changhigh Trinity Sisters Fireshow of Light, Life and Love. Together with Cypress Rosewoods live music, the ChangHigh Sisters danced their beautiful firedances of an exotic and seductive nature, but for the first time in SL and RL, presented the virtual world's first 2, 3, 6 and 7 acrobatic pyramidsl jumped up in their rotating trapezes and showed the harmony and elegance of an almost unseen kind ever before.
